This tutorial was written by Ellie for Glitter Geeks graphics forum. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental. Please do not repost on any other forum or website without permission.

Open the ZIP file labeled L3L_butterfly_selections, then open the .pspimage file in PSP.
In your Layers Palette, click on "lower wings".
Go to Selecions > Load/Save Selection > Load Selection From Alpha Channel. Now select "lower wings" and Load.

Click on your Fill Tool (the paint can) in your Tools Palette, select a color (or gradient or pattern) in the foregound box in your Materials Palette, and click inside the selection to fill with color.
Optional: here's where I add a dropshadow, but you don't have to if you don't want to. I use the settings 2-2-75-5-black (#000000).
Next click on "upper wings" in your Layers Palette.
Selecions > Load/Save Selection > Load Selection From Alpha Channel. Now select "upper wings" and Load.
Fill in the new selection with color.
Optional: add dropshadow. 2-2-75-5-black.
Next click on "anntenae" in your Layers Palette.
Selecions > Load/Save Selection > Load Selection From Alpha Channel. Now select "anntenae" and Load.
Fill in the new selection with color. I used black here.
Optional: add dropshadow. 2-2-75-5-black.
Next click on "body" in your Layers Palette.
Selecions > Load/Save Selection > Load Selection From Alpha Channel. Now select "body" and Load.
Fill in the new selection with color. I used black here.
Optional: add dropshadow. 0-0-100-10-black.
Selections > Select None.
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.
Now just save it and you're done! Congrats!
You can resize it, recolor it, add it to blinkies, glitternames, or other graphics. Oh, and I'd love to see your finished product!
