I have started trying to paint pixels... it is a lot harder than I thought it would be! Anyways... here are my first two pixels! They are a lot of fun, but pretty time consuming. Anyways... thanks for peeking!

Oh wow, those are SO cute, Sariah! I went on a pixel bender a while back and you're right, it's really time consuming, but so much fun! Did you join a pixel site?

Thanks Carey & Ellie! No I didn't join a pixel site, these are free pixel outlines I found online. I really like it and I would love to join a pixel site, but right now we just don't have the money. DH is going to re-inlist so we will get some kind of a bonus. Most of it is going to go to the house, so that will open up some money! I am seriously considering getting a part time job, but I just can't imagine leaving Adrian for hours. The longest I have left him is for an hour and a half or so with my mom. Andy has watched him for about an hour and a half while he was sleeping. I am such a wimp when it comes to leaving him. I know it isn't good for my relationship with DH, because we never go out just the two of us. We will get there! Sorry to go off like that! Which pixel sites are the best?

You are better off just finding free pixel stuff off the net. Those pay sites have some really nice stuff, but they also have a lot of restrictions on how and where you can use their images, even though you are paying. I used to belong to Vanilla Fields and they had some cute stuff, but I was really annoyed by their rules. The pixel community is obsessed with other people copying their work! LOL Anyway...
I understand about wanting to work to bring in a little extra money. We are trying to build up our savings right now so that we have at least three months worth of living expenses, just in case something should happen, but every time I think we're actually getting somewhere with it there's something that we need to spend money on. I have a hard time leaving my boys, too. I have never left both of them alone with anyone, except my husband and even then they were asleep. I never imagined leaving them would be so hard. So are you seriously thinking about getting a job? Even if I could leave my guys I am just too tired to be of any use to anyone. lol

I bet you are! I can't imagine having 2 to take care of! You are my hero!
I keep thinking about it, and I really want that camera... but I really don't want to leave my little guy! He is getting so close to crawling and stuff... I don't want to miss any of that. I am still at a loss as to what I should do. Ugh! It is so hard!

That is a big dilemma. It really would be sad to miss something like the first time he crawls, but I understand about wanting the camera. You'd be able to take better pictures to scrap with! IS there any way you could do something from home? I have a friend who sells Avon and she keeps trying to get me to sell, too. I think I'm going to, maybe. She says it's only a $10 setup fee and she makes about $500/month. It's not a lot, but enough to buy what you want!

The only problem I see with that is that I don't know many people at all here. Do they do parties and stuff? That is definitely something I would be interested in! That or Mary Kay. I will have to look into that. Thanks Ellie! Good luck with it!

Thanks, Sariah! Actually, I think for Avon you don't have to know a lot of people. You just distribute your catalogs and the address to your website. With Mary Kay you do throw parties. I used to sell Mary Kay and while I loved the products it was difficult for me to make any real sales because I am not really a people person and I dreaded the parties. lol However, the girl who got me into Mary Kay was SUPER outgoing and she made tons of money.
